Bootstrap 4.2.1 is here with fixes and helpful new tools to make your work easier. This version of Bootstrap includes Toast messages, Spinner loading icons, and a switch that looks like the ones on iPhones. The people who make Bootstrap also put in some useful new classes. New Features in Bootstrap 4.2.1

Toast

A toast is a flexible pop-up that shows website visitors push messages. You can place these toasts in the bottom right or top right of the screen by changing their style. Normally, if several toasts appear, they will pile up. Below is an example of a Bootstrap toast.

Spinner Loaders

This new Bootstrap version includes two fresh loading icons: a spinner with a border and one that expands. You can change the spinner's color by adding Bootstrap's text color settings to its code. These spinners can also be put into buttons, for example, to show that a form is being sent, which makes your website more interactive.

iOS style Switch

You can make a regular checkbox look like an iOS switch by adding the custom-switch class to it.

The Bootstrap team has added new tools called font-weight-lighter and font-weight-bolder to easily change how thick text appears without extra style rules. You can also use the text-decoration-none class to remove text decorations.
